Internet Acceptable Use Policy
1. Don Alejandro Roces Sr, Science-Technology High School recognizes the academic need for some, if not all of its students, teachers and staff, to have access to the Internet while on the job, using company computers. As such, Don Alejandro Roces Sr, Science-Technology High School has made the academic decision to make the Internet available to all for DARSSTHS academic purposes.
2. DARSSTHS intends for the Internet to be accessed for school purposes and expects that students, teachers and staff, will spend no more than 30 minutes per day accessing the Internet for academic purposes.
3. DARSSTHS specifically prohibits from accessing the following types of sites using school computers:
a. Gambling sites
b. Auction sites
c. Hate sites
d. Pornographic sites
e. Any site engaging in or encouraging illegal activity

4. The school reserves the right to use monitoring software to make sure the school"s IAUP is being adhered to by its students and employees. The school may record and/or monitor one or more students'/employees' computer and Internet activity for any reason and without any specific notice.

E-Library Rules & Regulations:
1. Avail of e-Library services from Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM ( Break is at 12:00 noon)
2. Present e-Library card and school ID if when availing of e-Library resources
3. Our e-Library is an open shelf library. Library users search and get for the materials they need by themselves and return in the proper shelves after use.
4. Handle e-Library materials with care at all times. Borrowers are required to replace or pay borrowed materials in case of lost materials shall be of the same title or any recently published book of the same subject. Moreover, replacement should be of the same price or higher, than the price of borrowed materials.
5.Anyone who is caught stealing and damaging e-Library materials and resources shall be given sanction by the Guidance Office and will no longer be allowed to avail any e-Library services in the entire duration of his stay in the school.
6. Library users secure a library card and may borrow maximum of (2) books overnight. Students failed or overdue books shall not be allowed to borrow other books and e-Library materials.
7. Return e-Library materials on time. All books except GENERAL REFERENCES materials, serials and CD-ROMS could be borrowed overnight. Fiction books could be borrowed for a week.
8. Please observe silence and proper discipline inside the e-Library at all times
9. Clear tables and tuck chairs before going out of the e-Library.
10. Do not bring bags and foods inside the e-Library.
